Giving at St. George's Church

“Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not
reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.”

2 Corinthians, Chapter 9, verse 7

The work and ministry of St. George's Church are generously funded through all those who attend here. Your financial support is key to our work. We need £6,000 a month (£200 per day) to keep the ministry of this church going!

Regular Giving

The best way to give to St. George’s is by setting up a regular bank transfer payment. You can do this by completing the Planned Giving form and setting up a Standing Order from your bank. If you are a UK tax payer, you can increase the amount of your gift by completing a Gift Aid Declaration. This will allow us to claim an additional 25p for every £1 you give.

Sunday Collections
You can donate cash before or after any service on the collection plate available on the small table at the back of the church in the narthex.

Card Reader
St. George’s also has a card reader available for donations should you not have cash readily available. The reader includes a number of pre-set amounts, but you can also choose your own preferred amount.

By Post
If you wish to make a donation by post, please send your gift to: The Treasurer, St. George's Church, 109 Owlsmoor Road, Sandhurst, GU47 0SS.

Legacies
You may wish to consider leaving a legacy to St. George's Church in your will. Please speak to your solicitor when making or changing your will. Please let us know by ticking the Legacy Giving box on the Planned Giving form.

The PCC promise to use all such gifts to make a difference to the work of the church (for example, funding development projects in the parish or ministry work in the local community).
